At Peace with the World
The world obviously is not at peace, but each of us can be at peace with the world. Inner peace does not depend on circumstances but the way we relate to them. This half day retreat we will practice the two most important ways to meet our life; with wisdom and love. Using the time tested practices of Vipassana and Metta (loving kindness) Meditation, together we will strengthen our minds and hearts so that we can peacefully navigate this wondrous and complex world.
We will be spending our time together in noble silence in both sitting and walking meditation. There will instructions and opportunities to ask questions.
Suggested dana is $30-$70, though no one will be turned away for inability to pay. There will also be an opportunity to offer additional dana to the teacher.
